Angels Envy recently released their Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks which is an extremely limited (1200 bottles) run in honor of Founder’s Day. I was asked to to create product photography of the bottle and packaging. The box design was influenced by traditional Japanese Wagara fabric patterns and the bottle itself was designed so that after the contents were consumed the label could be removed and a crystal stopper was included to create a keepsake decanter. The packaging design was the creation of Sarah Conley and she explains more and bout her design influence here.
